The Super Power of your Subconscious Mind

Positive thinking is powerful thinking. If you want happiness, fulfilment, success and inner peace, start thinking you have the power to achieve those things. Focus on the bright side of life and expect positive results - this is the actual power of our mind. Let's look at how powerful our mind is. To understand this, we need to compare our mind to the most sophisticated man-made device ever created, the computer. The average computer can hold about 250000 pictures, 20000 songs and hundreds of full-length videos. Now, let's compare it to our mind. Our mind can perform an estimated ten quadrillion operations per second, without you even knowing it. To understand it more deeper ask yourself immediately-

-          what's making your blood flow throughout your veins with the right amount of pressure to stay you alive?

-          What's making your heartbeat right now?

Are you consciously commanding your heart to beat right now? No….!!!

Then, what's the power or mechanism that is maintaining your body core temperature to the perfect degree to keep you alive?

-       What's doing the six trillion things to your 60 trillion cells every single second?

It's something called your subconscious mind. This is the powerhouse that is maintaining the whole functioning of your body with much perfection. Every creature that has been created by the supreme power (GOD) has the power of subconscious mind i.e. your cat has it, even your puppy has it, but they don’t know how to use the power of their subconscious mind. Only a human can get to know that how it can be trained to attract good things into your life or it can absolutely demolish your health by using it in the wrong way.

What is that one thing which our subconscious mind can't do?

It can't distinguish between a true event and something you simply believe. Sounds absolutely ridiculous, right? What happens when you have a nightmare? You wake up, your heart is pounding, you're sweating and you're anxious beyond words. The nightmare existed in your mind. You weren't in any real danger, but your mind didn't know that. You physiologically reacted, as if the nightmare was actually happened. But your subconscious mind treated it a real happening and reflected the after affect on your body i.e. you got anxious, sweating, increased heart beat etc. If you are thinking of a negative thought all the time, it will come true - as you are training your subconscious mind to achieve that. The subconscious mind is very poor in making decisions, it will work as you will train it- whether productive or destructive - the choice is yours.

Understanding the Subconscious Mind & Researches

Let’s go through another study to understand and explore it more.

There was a research conducted on a criminal, who was sentenced to death by the orders of hanging till death. The researchers decided to conduct an experiment to know about the power of a subconscious mind. A day before his date of death orders, the criminal was conveyed that the court has changed the direction for his death. Now he will not be hanged, but he will be sentenced to death by a snake bite. He will get a bite from the most poisonous snake on the earth. So, the impression of such a terrible death formed a strong fear in his mind. Next morning, the policemen brought him into a room, with his face covered with non-transparent black cloth. He was allowed to be seated on a chair. Everybody in the room was only talking about his horrific death.  He was already full of fear, this conversation made the situation worse in his mind. Then the researches pricked him with a sharp needle and told him that the snake has bitten him, and he was going to die soon. Instantly, with a few moments, the criminal was dead.  Actually, he didn’t get any snake bite, but he was only being pricked with the sharp needle. But the fear effect in his subconscious mind made his death possible without any poison.

This research study proves that- The mind, rather than curing illness, contributes to illness. That's what a neurotic is. Their believe that they're going to develop a disease actually causes them to experience the symptoms of it. If we think of even a headache in our mind, we will definitely get the symptoms for the same in your body. Its nothing else but the reflection of your subconscious mind. Whatever belief you are holding your subconscious mind will become your reality. That's how hypnotism works. The hypnotist implants the idea in the back of their subject’s mind and the subject experiences whatever they  are told. If they hold the assumption that there is a spider on their arm, their eyes actually see and feels a spider on their arm.

In fact, 2% to 4% of the time, you decide what you want to do. You actually make the decision. But 96% to 98% of the time, you don't, you're on autopilot. Your subconscious mind controls your decisions, 96% to 98% of the time.

 Power of Subconscious Mind & Reality of  life………


Whatever we hold in the back of our subconscious minds, we are attracted to in life whether it’s the blessing or a curse. So, if what you hold in the back of your subconscious mind shapes your reality. The biggest question that must be coming into your mind at this stage is- What shapes your subconscious mind?

Practically everything that you're exposed to, everything that you see, hear, smell, taste and feel is shaping your subconscious mind. What are you listening to on the radio? Every single word or thought you hold in your mind has a particular vibrational frequency. Negative words or intentions have slower vibrational frequencies and positive words have higher vibrational frequencies. Our thoughts create us. We have to be extremely careful with what we are feeding our minds. Music can be beautiful and beneficial, but it can also have a negative impact on your health. Choose wisely.

When I was growing up, the most violence we had on video games was Mario jumping over turtles' heads. This is what our youth are playing today. These ghastly, extremely graphic images are sinking into the backs of their subconscious minds weakening their immune systems and having astronomical negative effects on their health. Such games are affecting their health. There is zero doubt about that. The most fitting example that you all must have come across is  the very popular game called “Blue Whale”.  That had captured the minds of the youth , depressed them and lead them to way to kill their lives.

Considering the opposite scenario, If the subconscious mind gets tuned to some positive thoughts, some spiritual practices and indulged in the positive environment – surely the results will be drastically favourable. The life will get smoother, enchanting and you will relish the moments of your life.

Subconscious Mind & Gossips……

What happens when you gossip? In order for you to gossip, you've got to carry a negative memory, a negative thought inside your mind. Not only you think about that negative memory but, you share it with the other person that you're talking to. Secondly if you hold negative thoughts in your mind, the biochemistry of your brain changes and you release cortisol, the stress hormone, into your blood, which then weakens your immune system, inhibits the actions of your white blood cells, increases the chances of infection and even promotes weight gain. All from gossiping, all from your thinking the conclusion is - you can't gossip without hurting yourself, remember that.

We have, on the average , 60,000 thoughts each day and these thoughts are going to influence our nature, well being and even our future. As you know these negative thoughts, release cortisol, the stress hormone, into our blood. Our thoughts create us, if they are positive will have a constructive effect on us. If they are negative, it will have a adverse affect on us. So the choice is our…..!!

Most people believe that situations cause them nervousness, stress or cause them to be depressed. The reality is this - there is absolutely no situation within the entire universe which will cause someone to experience fear, none. It's only your psychological reaction to things which will cause you to experience unease. No doubt, this is crucial to understand but it’s the only truth. You create your own fear, not a situation. When you truly, fundamentally understand this truth, that's when you realize that you control your anxiety, not a situation.

Your thoughts control your life. You are the creator of your everything, choose your thoughts wisely. So if you know how the subconscious works and you know how to program it using affirmations with the clear chart concise choice of positive words clear visualization and a corresponding feeling being the most important component because it's the actual energy that attracts, then you can draw bring into your life anything you want .

Habits that will transform your Life....!!!!

Connecting further to my previous blog that introduced the importance of spirituality in our life. There is one more vital thing that we all must understand that, Spirituality does not teach us to connect to some specific religion. Also, it’s not bounding us to anything like that but, Spirituality is essentially a search for life’s meanings from a non-religious perspective. It’s above the religion, as GOD is a supreme power that cannot be bounded to any religion. Spirituality is known to be a state that can reach higher levels of consciousness if one regularly practices yoga, meditation, and similar other practices.

Today, we will focus on  some of the finest habits that will surely transform your life, on spiritual & personal ground, only if you are practicing it in your day to day life.

The researches have proven that our mind gets adapted to a new habit, after a complete cycle of 21 days. This means that if we are continuously practicing a habit in our routine life for 21 days, it can become an inseparable part of our life. As our subconscious mind gets trained during this period. Our life is a real picture of all the images that we create in our subconscious mind. This is really a wider and an interesting concept, that we will focus on in one of my upcoming blogs- “The power of our subconscious mind”. Coming back to the point, learning the habits that will transform your life.

Habit is something, that we rarely focus on, but these have a greater impact on our living & survival opportunities. It’s having greater impact on our spiritual & personal life. Today we will come across 6 such magical habits that will purely impact your life. Let’s begin with the first habit.

1). Concious Breathing 

“Breath is the link between mind and body.” — Dan Brule

It’s the prime step that acts as a window to enter into the room of meditation. Deep breathing or I will say a concentrated breathing, makes you calm and focused. You just need to sit in silence, preferably this exercise must be done before sleep or early in the morning, when the whole surrounding is at rest. As per the beliefs, the universe has the abandoned source of energies and body receives it through a natural channel called “Chakras”. These chakras are highly active during this time. Hence, when the surrounding is quite, our body has the chances to receive that cosmic energy to the higher extent through meditation. Breathing is one of the easiest way to start meditation. Now, the question arises that how to concentrate on your breathe on meditative perspective.

The answer is here…!!!!!

Sit silently…..calmly…….with your back straight. The straight backbone enhances the flow of energy in your body.  Concentrate on your breathe.

-      Breathe in

-      Hold it for a few seconds ( as per your comfort Level)

-      Release the breathe.

-      Hold again for a few seconds ( as per your comfort Level)

Feel it going out and coming in back. You only need to put your attention to it. Regular & focused practice of this breathing exercise will lead you to reach the state of Zero thought level and you can feel the strong peace & eternal joy.

 

2). Affirm yourself everyday


The next habit you need to practice everyday is giving affirmations to yourself. These affirmations must be positive and specific. For example

-      I am so lucky.

-      I am very positive.

-      I am happy and contented.

-      Everyone loves me.

-      I am growing in my career.

Tell these affirmations to yourself the moment you wake up in the morning. Keep repeating these affirmations in your mind, when ever you get time. You will see, how your life style will transform. You will really feel a charm in your way of living.

Lets have a glance on an opposite scenario - If you keep telling yourself how short-tempered you are, yet you are yearning to become much calmer, you are telling yourself the wrong story — how can you expect to move forward when you are constantly looking backward?

Look forward, and step into a new you. Tell your story the way you want it to be, and it will become. Affirm Yourself.

3). Keep Smiling

“Peace begins with a smile.” – Mother Teresa

Because of your smile, you can make your life more beautiful. Let us always meet each other with smile, for the smile is the beginning of love. Use your smile to change the world but don’t let the world change your smile. Smile is the only key to your mood.

A research study says- The humble act of smiling releases neuropeptides that directly combat stress. Happy, peaceful hormones, such as dopamine and serotonin, are released when your beautiful smile spreads across your face. As well, your body, blood pressure, and heart rate all relax. Smile releases intense joy, and if you are relaxed means that you are balanced. If you are balanced, means that you are able to tackle the day to day problems with much efficiency and hence in turn it will make you competence in decision making. 

So friends, a single smile can give u a lot of paybacks.

4). Go into nature.

The advancement of the technology is leading us towards isolation. Just give a close look to your surrounding including yourself, we all are busy on the internet, chats, facebook, Instagram and other social media.  I am not saying that spending time with these gadgets is not good, rather it keeps us updating with all the information and happenings. But the worse aspect of this is – we are getting detached from the world - our nears and dears. Our life is becoming a race. Everyone wants to win it but now one know the destination to reach….!!!!.

The actual destination of our existence is being in stable state of peace and contentment. Which is missing from everyone’s life. The only way to get back to the way is “ Getting connected to the mother nature.” Spare some time from your routine and spend it with nature. See the flowers blooming- enjoy the sound of breeze touching you – see the trees dancing with the flow of air – listen to the music of the birds with full heart……..it will definitely go into the depth of your heart and you will realize that life is too short to enjoy these blessings of GOD.

Just experience it once, I am sure, your life will change to an unexpected level. Nature is full of peace.

5). Enjoy your present.

“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God”

Almost always, we keep one foot in the future and one foot in the past— this awkward stance causes us to forget our present. Some people spoil their present, by regretting their past – which can never be corrected and worrying about their future – which is hidden in the layers of time. The worse scene is that we are nothing to do with the present that we are living. We don’t care about the make the moments happy that we are living.

We are neglecting all the beautiful relations, moments and even sometimes forgets to enjoy the childhood of our kids in the race of life, which is the most precious moment of one’s life. Dear friends, please change this habit once, just then feel the transformation in your life. If you will make your present happy, in turn your future will be contented. Real generosity towards the future lies in giving all to the present.” ...

Buddha says - “I never see what has been done; I only see what remains to be done.” “You only lose what you cling to.” “The past is already gone, the future is not yet here. There's only one moment for you to live.”

 

6). Meditate everyday


“Meditation is a vital way to purify and quiet the mind, thus rejuvenating the body.” 

Meditation doesn’t mean only to sit for some time and enjoy the music of flute around with the aroma fragrance. Meditation is something exploring yourself – devoting time for yourself – talking to your inner sense – Knowing about yourself and more and more concentration towards own. It is time to feel yourself as your lungs breathe and your heart-beats.

Mediation means to connect to the vibrations around you, receiving the universal cosmic energy and utilize it to improve your physical & mental health.

The concept of your Inner sense..!!!!


Spirituality is the concept of Inner Depthmeans going inside the body to explore the presence of energies and the actual creation of GOD inside us. Its an extensive joyful feeling that can be only understood and felt with the self experience. I was desperate enough to share my experiences on this with you all, so just thought of writing a blog. 

 

Human is the most beautiful and powerful creation of GOD. Its being believed and said in our Granths and Vedas that we go through a number of generations (84 Lacs approx) before taking birth as a human. We get the human body to meet the higher source and get merged into the Supreme spiritual light after our death. This will take us out of the cycle of rebirth and our soul will be contented. This is the main aim of our life. This must be achieved by a human during the time period given to us by the higher power in the form of life.

 

I am an Assistant Professor by profession. Like everyone, I had also forgotten the actual aim of  life during the growth of my career. I was so busy in race from home to office and office to home. May be this would have been continued so far, till I met a complete spiritual Guru, who guided me and made me understood the concept of energies that are existing in  this universe. That was the only day, that my mind, my soul agreed to explore it more and more. Now the day has come, when I can feel the existence of these positive energies around me. If I can achieve this, you can also experience these energies by meditating yourself. 

 

Meditation is the only way to connect to these energies and the higher source. Now, the biggest question that must be coming into your mind that, How to meditate? Its very hard to maintain the concentration level & peace at the time when we sit to meditate. As a number of thoughts are striking our mind & we are not able to reach the actual level of concentration that is demanded.  We can say that the Zero thought state is called the meditative state. This is the state when u can feel the intense peace and the moment you will feel yourself to be connected to the Supreme source of energies. Meditation makes u calm, enthusiastic and adds power to your sixth sense.

 

 Many sculptures throws a bright light on the fact that God has also created an auto healing process in our body. This means that we all have the power of healing our self from any of the ailment, whether its physical or mental. You must be curious enough to know that how this can be done??? 

How is this possible???? 

You just need to understand about this. The proofs are hidden in the historical facts & beliefs. Have you ever realized that in ancient times when the sadhus/ saints who kept on meditating for a number of years in a cave, how they were able to survive without food for such a long time ?  Yes, the only answer for this is the energies or power that they were receiving from the divine source during their meditative state. They must be having a number of insect bites during their stay in the caves, but they were able to recover themselves through the auto healing process, that worked during mediation.
